This collaborative effort, along with feedback from tour professionals, culminated in Cleveland’s most advanced blade wedge to date, offering unmatched feel, superior consistency, and new sole grind options.

The RTZ 2 is crafted from Cleveland’s proprietary Z-Alloy metal. Engineered exclusively for golf and now in its second generation, this material is 10% softer, retains 15% more spin in wet conditions, and reduces groove wear by 87% compared to the 8620 steel found in the vast majority of premium wedges on the market. Simply put, Z-Alloy gives the RTZ 2 the feel and consistent performance that elite short-game players demand.

ZipCore iQ, an evolution of Cleveland’s tour-proven ZipCore technology, highlights the RTZ 2. Like its predecessor, this weight-saving technology allows the RTZ 2 to deliver exceptional stability in a compact, player-preferred shape. iQ takes the design to another level, optimizing every loft-and-grind combination individually to bolster performance on the shots that specific wedge is most often asked to hit.
