The aforementioned alignment technology, known as Eye-Q, comprises a dot and a long alignment line. Using the dot as a focal or anchor point for the golfer’s gaze, this unique design helps ‘quiet’ the eyes and mind, allowing players to make a confident stroke.
Regarding performance, each Scottsdale TEC model features a multi-material construction and PING’s advanced PEBAX insert. The construction, including a lightweight aluminum body and a dense stainless steel sole plate, positions weight low and around the perimeter of the putter head, creating exceptionally high MOI, stability, and forgiveness. The PEBAX insert’s benefits are twofold: First, its lightweight design provides discretionary weight to further optimize performance. Second, its elasticity and high rebound properties yield remarkably consistent ball speeds across the face, improving distance control, especially on mishits.
